The kimono (H&M) works for this look, since many of the clothes worn by the Bohemians, originated in the far east. The jeans are Calvin Klein, purchased in California circa 1988, that I cut into shorts. Although these shorts have a 1980's vibe, the tattered edges are very reminiscent of the clothing associated with a poor Bohemian lifestyle. While the black, lace bandeau (Victoria's Secret Pink) adds an edgy, yet sexy accent.
For that exotic/hippie style, I used a combination of new & vintage jewelry . This specific look gives you creative freedom to mix various colors & types of jewelry. I incorporated large earrings & a vintage necklace. I also layered on several bracelets & rings, that are different styles & colors, for a unique contrast.
Hair: I created those long sought after beach waves by using Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray & Hair Cream.
Makeup: To stay within the beach theme & create a bronze glow, I used Nars tinted moisturizer in Alaska, blush by Guerlain in 02 Brunettes Hâlées & Too Faced matte bronzing powder in Chocolate Soleil. On my eyes I applied eye-shadow in Half Baked (I also applied a small amount of this color on my cheekbones) & Smog from the original Urban Decay Naked pallet. Next I lined my eyes with Burberry eyeliner in Poppy Black & used Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara. Finally, I applied lip gloss by Trish McEvoy in Gorgeous Pink Shimmer.
